Here at colne maintenance dredging we can offer bespoke maintenance plans , we offer an injection dredging process which is a tried and tested method of silt removal. Our vessel Kathy Anne is fitted with a six cylinder diesel pump which injects large amounts of water into the sediment base, lifting the material into a low density current, which flows away with the tidal stream.

With the focus on natural habitats and the different species which live in creeks and  rivers here at C.M.D we are pleased to offer this method as its environmental impact is extremely small if any at all .

The process of injecting water recreates natures natural process which allows the silt to move in our chosen direction using the tidal flows available.

With the constant issue of sedimentation which is a major concern for all small creeks and harbours here at C.M.D we can cater for the one off annual maintenance dredge or we can perform the little and often approach where we can put together a maintenance program over a twelve month period .
